The Harris Tweed Seagreen Herringbone with Timorous Beasties Navy Thistle Double Sided Lampshade, is a fabulous combination!  The hand screen printed Navy thistles tone in perfectly with the Seagreen Herringbone Harris Tweed. What makes Harris Tweed  so special? Well, it is because Harris Tweed is dyed and blended. Following that it is carded, spun, warped & woven. Finally it is finished, examined and stamped, but only in the Scottish Outer Hebrides by local crofters and artisans. This is why at Rowan and Fern Lampshade Design it is always authentic Harris Tweed we use. Timorous Beasties is a Glasgow based design studio founded in 1990 by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons, renowned for their innovative and often provocative approach to textiles and wallpaper. Timorous Beasties work features intricate patterns, rich textures, bold imagery, often incorporating natural elements and urban motifs, therefore have gained international acclaim for their distinctive style and high quality craftsmanship. Choose between a Table/Floor lamp fitting OR A Ceiling/Pendant fitting. This is important as it will ensure I have Harris Tweed label in the correct place and the interior fabric the correct way up. *Please be aware of the non returns policy regarding Timorous Beasties lampshades* Your lampshade can be adapted to fit either a UK or European fitting lamp, by using an adapter is provided for you with each lampshade. Please request a fabric sample>> here, if you would like to check if this fabric is right for you. All our lampshade are handmade using a PVC material which has been tested by the Lighting Association Laboratories. Both fabrics are available with a white interior.

The lampshades are all handmade to order, therefore, please allow up to 14-21 working days for delivery of your order , although your lampshade will most probably be ready much sooner.

If you require your lampshade(s) sooner please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

Orders can be collected in person, (by prior arrangement), a collection option is available at the checkout.

Returns & Refunds

In the unlikely event you wish to return your lampshade you can*.

Notice of your intent to make a return must be made within 7 days from the delivery day of your lampshade.

The return of your lampshade should be made within a further 7 days from the date of intent to return.

A refund will be made via the original payment source once your lampshade has been returned in perfect, re-sellable condition.

Returned lampshades must be repacked carefully in the original box and packaging.

The lampshade must not have been removed from the cellophane wrapping it arrived in.

Returned lampshades must not have been used.

To make a return:

If the return criteria has been met we will then confirm your request to return.

Lampshades must be returned by either Royal Mail Tracked 24(or 48) or Parcelforce24 (or 48). The cost of the return is the responsibility of the buyer.

Once we receive your returned lampshade in a perfect, re-sellable condition, a refund will be made via the original payment source. Please allow at least 7 working days for a refund to be returned to your account.

*Please read the following exceptions to our return & refund policy:

*50cm diameter lampshades- are non returnable due to their size and re-stocking storage space restrictions.

*Timorous Beasties Lampshades are non returnable due to the fabric having been made to order to fulfill your lampshade order.

*Any bespoke lampshades made to your requested specified measurements (different from those on the website) are non-returnable.

Please be very sure of measurements and fabrics/colours etc before ordering. Fabric samples can be ordered by clicking a link that is in every lampshade description summary.

Faulty/Damaged Lampshades

Please inform us of any damaged lampshades within 3 days of delivery (due to damage in post).

We will only cover the cost of the return of the lampshade if the lampshade is faulty.
